How to disable the automatic access request in Service?

Is there a way to disable the automatic request for access...   I have a large number piling up, and get emails:     I want to prohibit users to be able to request access.

Hi Anonymous 

On the Power BI Tenant Admin settings there is a switch "Discover Content" which when turned off, will not let users see Dataset to which they have no access, and hence not send any messages requesting access.

Your local Power BI Admin should be able to make this change for you.

Hi Burningsuit,

I am facing the same issue and I want to disable the function of users being able to request acces on reports or datasets.

With datasets I can use an option within the dataset settings.

 

I tried your solution and set the discover contet on disabled, however, users can still request access (at least in my test tenant from Microsoft).

It seems like enabling the feature didn't change anything.

 

Do you or does anybody have further advice?
