How to define alerts on thresholds to send mails?

Is there a way I can create alerts/Triggers on certain Thresholds  to send mails?

This is for my own dashboard that monitors  Azure loads/jobs.

(I know in Tableau its possible)

Hi @Anonymous -Yes, you can create alerts and set up email notifications for threshold breaches in Power BI, similar to what’s possible in Tableau. In Power BI, there are a few options available to achieve this functionality

  • Power BI allows you to create data-driven alerts on tiles in dashboards within the Power BI Service (not in Power BI Desktop).
  • You can set threshold values on tiles that contain cards, KPIs, and gauges. When the data on the tile crosses the specified threshold, Power BI sends an email alert to the user.
  • To set up an alert:
    1. Go to your Power BI dashboard and select the tile you want to set an alert on.
    2. Click on the ellipsis (...) > "Manage alerts."
    3. Configure the threshold, frequency, and recipients.
  • These alerts only work on static tiles in dashboards, not on visuals within reports. Alerts can be set to send notifications when values exceed or drop below specified limits.

Try the above approach and let know.
