How to copy values from visuals from PBI report not by exporting?

Hi All,

Is there a way to copy values from slicer or visuals directly from PBI report like we do in web page?

We do not want to export the data from visuals in from CSV or excel

Please share your suggestions

Regards

Vaishali

Hi, @Vaishali04

If you are using visuals such as table or matric, then in the area of values, select the value you need, hold down the ctrl key to multi-select, then right click and select copy value or copy selection.

If you wish to copy the entire table, then go to the data tab and select copy table. Similarly, you can copy the table you summarized.

If you wish to copy the data used by other visual object, where there is no value to select and then copy,

of course, you can use the feature of show as a table to view the data, but you cannot copy it directly, so the answer is to export the data and then copy and paste.

Exporting the data file and then copying the file is still convenient, isn’t it😉?

Hope this helps.

Hi @v-angzheng-msft

Export data not allowed in my report.  so I have disable all visual options. and I do not have table visual at UI. I want copy  individual values from slicers. How this is achiveable?

Hi, @Vaishali04

Do you want to copy individual values from the slicer? Unfortunately, the value cannot be copied on the slicer.
I still wonder why, but if you only need to copy a few values, typing manually is a good idea.
If it's all slicer values, it's still not a good idea to copy individual values one by one. It might be faster to summarize the fields you need as a table and then copy them.
