How to connect to SQL Server On Prem using Window authentication through data gateway

Hi,

I have created the Power BI report using the On-premise SQL database, I am using windows authentication in the report. but when I am publishing the report I am getting below error  on the Power BI service

 

" This report couldn't access the data source because it doesn't have permission. Choose another data gateway, or contact the gateway administrator"

 

I am trying to create a data source, while creating the new data source using the windows authentication the below error giving

 

"The on-premises data gateway's service account failed to impersonate the user."

    Hi AkkiDev 

     

    When putting in the Gateway credentials can you confirm that you are using DOMAIN\UserName and then the password?

     

    And can you also confirm that the Authentication Method is "Windows"
