How to connect to Mongo DB via ODBC or any other connector

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to connect to Mongo BD (Mongo DB Atlas Replica Set) from Power BI Service & Power BI desktop but I am facing some issues. As follows:-

Mongo DB to Power BI Desktop Connection:

• As per the documentation, we should be able to connect Mongo DB to Power BI Desktop using ODBC Connector after installing ODBC Mongo DB Driver & creating the System DSN. But it is not connecting using this method
• I am able to connect to Power BI Desktop to Mongo DB by installing Mongo DB BI Connector but in that method, I need to run some commands in Windows CMD & keep the window active for uninterrupted connection which is not possible ( https://medium.com/qimi-techblog/connecting-mongodb-hosted-in-mongo-atlas-with-powerbi-including-m0-... )
• I need a method where I can connect to Mongo DB without this issue

Mongo DB to Power BI Service Connection:

• I didn't find any method to connect to Power BI Service to Mongo DB by On-Premises data gateway & dataflow without any third-party software.

Please Suggest if anyone has connected to Mongo DB.

Connect from Microsoft Power BI Desktop — MongoDB Connector for BI

For the second issue, currently it is not supported to connect to Mongo DB directly on Power BI Service. To refresh the dataset from Mongo DB on Power BI Service, you can first build these connections in Power BI Desktop and publish the PBIX file into Service. After that, configure the On-Premises data gateway to refresh the dataset. You will find some guides in comments of your shared article.
