Helper VHow to connect to Fabric data from Excel
Hi Team,
In the above snap, if i click on dataset in fabric there is an option to analyze in execl so that i can able to analyze data in excel
so in the same way I need to connect to fabric data from Excel. i mean, in excel i will go to data source and need to pull data from fabric. is there any way, please let me know.

As far as I know right now it is not possible. I think it might be coming in the future.

In case anyone else found this old question. This method works for me....
- open excel
- login/confirm work account
- open new sheet
- Choose Get Data from Ribbon
- Choose From Database
- Choose From SQL Server
- enter your ms fabric connection string
- add details
- Profit
We have some security sign-ins that we must complete prior to working w/ data. For example, if we use SSMS we have to use a specific authentication. I'm not aware if I have installed special connectors- I don't recall doing so.
