I have a doubt about datasets, this is my thinking:
When you create a report you can either Import the data or DirectQuery.
When you publish the report...
How and where can I check in this Dataset if its either Import or Directquery??

Hi,@Anonymous
Regarding the issue you raised, my solution is as follows:
1.First of all, in the desktop version, you can select "Model view" -> "Advanced" -> and it will show you whether you are in import mode or direct query mode.
2.Second, if you're in the service, you can click on the ellipsis next to the Semantic model -> "Settings" -> and the gateway will tell you if you're in direct query mode.
The personal gateway only supports import mode.
Here is a screenshot of the official document:
Use a personal gateway in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
3.You can check if you can create a scheduled refresh, if you can, it's import mode, if not, it's direct query mode. The direct query pattern fetches data from the data source in real time, so there is no need for scheduled refreshes.
Only those that match the screenshot are in import mode:
The one that matches this screenshot is the live connection mode:
4.Here are the links to similar questions you have, I hope it will be helpful to you:
