How to change source from one query to another query
Hi All,
I have created a Power BI report using SAP Business Warehouse and connected to a BEx query Z_Qry_F1 . Now I would like to repoint the same Power BI report to a different query Z_Qry_F2.
Note :Both the strcutures are same and there is no difference between both the queries.
Can someone please let me know how to do this in Power BI desktop.
Thanks
Poojitha

Hi Anonymous ,
You can try these two ways when opening Power Query Editor in power bi desktop:
- Changing data source directly in Advanced Editor
- Using the 'Navigation' in Applied steps on the right of query editor

Hi Anonymous ,
Maybe you can delete the 'Renamed Columns' and 'Added Items' in Applied steps.
Please refer the simliar case:
Expression Error.: The key didn't match any rows in the table

Use the Advanced Editor in Power Query. Or depending on exactly what you want to do, sometimes you can just use the gear icon next to the Source step.
