Hi,
When I try to format the X-Axis, the only Scale-Type available is "Linear".
How to I get the "Categorical" Scale-Type?
This is on a Stacked Bar Chart.
Thank you and kind regards,
Melissa

Hi @melissa_dor,
When you create a stacked bar chart in Power BI Desktop, you have the chance to change type of Y-Axis rather than X-Axis to “Categorical” as long as you put numeric or Date/Time data type field to axis. There is an example for your reference. However, if you put text data type field to axis of stacked bar chart, the Type format option that contains Categorical and Continuous will not show up.
In addition, when you create a stacked column chart in Power BI Desktop, you can change type of X-Axis to “Categorical” as long as you put numeric or Date/Time data type field to axis. Similarly , the Type format option that contains Categorical and Continuous will not show up when you put text data type field to axis of stacked column chart. Here is an example for your reference.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
