Hi @VVI

Thanks for the replies from @mohitkumawat  and @SaiTejaTalasila .

Some things to consider when planning capacity are:

  • The data model you're using.
  • The number and complexity of the queries required.
  • Hourly distribution of application usage
  • Data refresh rate
  • Other usage patterns that are difficult to predict.

You can refer to this link to choose the smallest SKU according to your needs.

The following documents are about how to plan capacity in Power BI Embedded Analytics and the best practices for improving the performance of Power BI Embedded Analytics for your reference, I hope them will be helpful.

Hi @SaiTejaTalasila @mohitkumawat

Thanks for your suggestions.

Here in my organization, any most of other organization, we need to propose a budget to purchase. And it should be based on justification, to increase the possibility of approval.

So, is there any calculation that we can do to make a more/close-to accurate estimation on the needs?

Hi @VVI ,

You can check premium capacity P1.If you are worried about the cost, then you can share it with others teams in your organisation and you can do some cross charge.

Thanks,

Sai Teja

Hi @VVI ,

it depends on Multiple factors on your workload requirements and desired cost.
Consider the complexity of your reports
Evaluate your data refresh needs
Think about the number of concurrent users

Start small and scale up

Consider Power BI Premium
