How to apply changes to gateway connection?
Hello,
I have mapped a datasource to a gateway (the first yellow circle below), but the "Apply" button in the second yellow circle is greyed out. Please does anyone know why?

The one you highlighted in yellow (first circle) is the source added to the gateway, which is good. But I can see there are two other sources which are not added to the gateway. File and Folder on OnPrem sources and need to be added to the gateway before refreshing the dataset.
And that is exactly why you are still seeing the Apply button greyed out.
If you can add the other two sources and map them to the dataset, then you should be good to schedule the refresh.

it looks like your gateway is not running or its a old version? Please update the gateway and the gateway must be running during the refresh process. A best practice is to put a gateway on a Virtual Machine which is online during the refresh times of the reports. 🙂
Also check in the Power BI Desktop If you have some old unused connections in your report.
