Hello Team,
I have a table with each page consists of 15 rows. Users can navigate to different pages by clicking the Page buttons.
I have a issue when the user is in page 6 and clicks the reset button, functanility jumps to Page 1, but UI still in Page 6 for visiblity purpose.
I have use bookmarks for the Reset button to navigate to the Page 1 as default. UI not rendering or refreshing here.
Thanks and Regards,
Siva
Hi @sspk,
I wanted to follow up on our previous suggestions regarding the issue. We would love to hear back from you to ensure we can assist you further.
Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help.
Thank you.
Hi @sspk,
Thank you for confirming the steps you tried and sharing the screenshots. Based on your description, it looks like the issue is purely visual, the bookmark correctly resets the data context to Page 1, but the slicer tile is not visually refreshing.
To ensure your input is recognized, I recommend adding your vote or comment to this idea on the Power BI Ideas forum.

Thank you.
Hi @sspk,
Just checking in -- have you had a chance to review and try the provided solution? Kindly share the status whenever you get a chance.
Looking forward to your response.
Hi @sspk,
This is a limitation of how Power BI handles bookmarks + slicer sync:
A bookmark captures the data state (filters, visuals, page) at the time you create it.
But slicers are interactive visuals, and they sometimes don’t refresh visually after the bookmark resets unless explicitly included in the bookmark’s “Selected visuals” list.
If your slicer is inside a group or a tile, or uses Sync slicer functionality, Power BI may keep the user’s last visual state cached even though the data context changed.
In other words:
Power BI correctly resets the filter to Page 1, but doesn’t redraw the slicer tile.
When creating your “Reset” bookmark:
Go to View → Bookmarks Pane.
Select your Reset bookmark → click the ellipsis (…) → Update.
Ensure that the slicer visual (your pagination buttons) is selected in the report canvas before updating the bookmark.
This ensures the slicer’s visual state (selected button) is also stored in the bookmark.
Re-publish and test.
👉 This usually fixes the issue 90% of the time.

Hope it can help you !

Hi @AntoineW ,
Thank you for your reply and time. I have tried various options.
I have tried the below, but still UI is not reflecting. Pagination slicer UI not reflected properly even though selected as Page1 with background black color, When we clicked the Reset Btn.
Attached images for your reference.
Followed the steps “Reset” bookmark:
Go to View → Bookmarks Pane.
Select your Reset bookmark → click the ellipsis (…) → Update. (Rest btn is selected while doing the operation)
Ensure that the slicer visual (your pagination buttons) is selected in the report canvas before updating the bookmark.(Page1 is selected while doing the operation)
This ensures the slicer’s visual state (selected button) is also stored in the bookmark.
Re-publish and test.
Still UI not jumping in screen to Page1 with black background.(In background the operation is completed and working, page1 is selecte, we can't see it.).
Thanks and Regards,
Siva
