How to Identify Unused Dataflows and Their Association with Reports or Datasets

Hello Power BI Community,

I've been working with multiple Power BI dataflows and over time, as projects evolve, some of these dataflows might become redundant or unused. To ensure efficient resource utilization and maintain a clean workspace, I'm looking to identify:

  1. Dataflows that have not been used or refreshed for a certain period.
  2. Whether these potentially unused dataflows are linked to any active reports or datasets.

I was wondering if there's a way to programmatically or automatically identify these unused dataflows and their associations. Is there a script, API endpoint, or any other means that can help me achieve this?

Any guidance, best practices, or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi @AvPowerBI ,

Sorry, so far, to my knowledge, this may not be achieveable.

But you could submit idea in this site Home (microsoft.com), if a idea is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
