How to Edit report from App

Hi Friends,

 

We are unable to edit the report shared in the App.

The 'Edit report' is disabled and on clicking getting a message as 'You can't edit a shared report.'

 

Any way/idea on how can we edit report in tha App?

    Hi. You probably can't edit it beacuse you don't have the permission to do it. If you were able to do it you would be added in the workspace that creates the app.

    Check if you have access to a Workspace of the app creation. If you don't, ask for editing permission to the owner.

    Hi Anonymous ,

    As ibarrau said, it is caused that you don't have an edit permission. Please ask for the owner of the App to add you to one of the workspace roles:  member, contributor or admin. For more details, please take a look at the document: Roles in the new workspaces.

      Thanks for you reply.

       

      I have Contributor role in workspace that creates App.

      Even my colleague who has created workspace and App, himself not able to edit the report in App.

      He is admin of Workspace and App though not sure about restriction on editing the report in App.
