How public is the dashabord on embedding and are there alternatives?

I had a curiosity and thought maybe I could ask here, but some people from my office are interested in publishing some data to their sharepoint site, but it's sensitive data. Hence they don't want to use embed code to publish because of the "warning message about being public". They are asking if there is  another way of showing the dashboard data that is more "restricted".

I think there isn't and the data isn't really compromised if they ëmbed code but I don't know. I think the data is only public in the sections they place the code, not that EVERYONE can see it.

Can someone confirm this as well?

Anyone that has the URL can see the report when using Publish to Web which is what I assume we are talking about or are you using the Preview feature Embed in SharePoint Online?

But no, without having the link, the Publish to Web is not findable by search robots and the like. So, if you embed it it on a SharePoint site, only give the users you want access to the site then it is securish. If everyone is Pro, just share it. If you are using the Preview Embed in SharePoint Online then I think everyone has to be Pro anyway.
