How often does a report refresh its data when using the publish to web embed link?
If I am understanding this document https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-publish-to-web then it's saying that the data could take 1 hour to refresh.... and that it shouldn't be used for reports that refresh data often. "We don’t recommend using Publish to web for data that needs to refresh frequently."
My report pulls live data in 1 minute intervals, and I need a way to share this report with the public, so that they do not need to login to PowerBI to view it.
If I use the web embed function, will my report still function the proper way that it does in the Reports Server?

Hi @mrexcellent ,
The reports you publish to web can be refreshed after you update your data source. Based on the technical details mentioned in this publish-to-web article, we can learn that the refresh of data is automatically reflected in your embedded reports or visuals. However, it may take about an hour for the refreshed data to be visible from the embedded code. In your case, once the dataset has been refreshed successfully, please check it again after an hour.
Besides publishing to the web, if you want to use other ways to make the reports you share visible to users, it will cost extra to purchase the corresponding licenses.
