I need help figuring out what processes/permissions are needed to be able to manage permissions to published dashboards. I would like to know how do I publish a dashboard and restrict only certain users in my organization to be able to access the dashboard?
Tried using workspaces for a time but could not consistently figure out what I needed to do to give people access to that workspace (looked like they had access from my end but they were blocked). I have also tried limiting direct access but I don't have the ability to remove access. For instance in the image below - there is no ellipses to be able to remove any users here.
I have a Pro license, but the others will be viewing (not editing or creating) so they should not need a Pro license. I can reuest whatever license type I need but can't figure that out.
Hi,
Based on the description, select the manage access to give people access to workspace.
Besides, go to the dashboard and click on the share option.
Then, select manage permissions.
What's more, it is able to remove user.

Hi @AMi94 , depends on what capacity you are on. If its Premium capacity your end user viewers can view the report using free license. Otherwise a pro license is must at the very least. Also sharing dashboards is done via workspace apps. From app settings you can manage permissions. Coming to the ellipsis that you are unable to see, maybe you need to check the workspace settings if you are set as viewer, contributor , member because surely it doesn't seem like you are having admin rights
Are you on Shared, Premium, or Fabric Capacity?
The standard process is to share through app audiences.
