        Hi Bhaskarkolli9 ,
Thank you for the follow-up.I would be happy to assist you!

Power BI supports both Import and DirectQuery modes when connecting to SAP HANA, but only when using the SAP HANA connector.

If you're connecting via ODBC, only Import mode is supported. For DirectQuery, we recommend using the native SAP HANA connector instead.

You may find more details here:
Power Query SAP HANA database connector - Power Query | Microsoft Learn

Hope this helps. If so,consider accepting it as solution.

        Regards,
        Pallavi.

    Hi Bhaskarkolli9,

If your RISE environment is SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, you may also evaluate Power BI Connector for SAP:

    https://www.sap.com/products/data-cloud/partners/metrica-software-inc-power-bi-connector-for-sap.html

It reads activated SAP OData services through SAP BTP Destination and Cloud Connector and provides Power BI with an OData endpoint, without requiring direct HANA database access or local HANA ODBC. It is an Import/refresh approach rather than HANA DirectQuery.
