I can not find the option to change the due date of metrics/Goals in Power BI scorecards that are already published, Am i missing something, or it can't be done?

Hi @Tejinder ,

You're correct, you can't directly change the due date of an existing metric or goal within a published Power BI scorecard. Here are the available options and workarounds:

1. Create a New Metric or Goal:

  • If you need to track a metric or goal with a different due date, the most straightforward approach is to create a new one within the scorecard with the desired due date.
  • This preserves the historical data of the original metric or goal while allowing you to track progress against a new deadline.

2. Extend the End Date (Temporary Solution):

  • While you can't directly change the due date, you can temporarily extend the end date of a metric or goal.
  • To do this:
    • Open the scorecard.
    • In the Top pane below Search, click "Edit."
    • Select the metric or goal.
    • Click on pencil icon "Edit the Metric "
    • Adjust the "End Date" field.
    • Click "Save."
This workaround buys you more time, but it doesn't create a new record for the extended period.
If this post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution, Appreciate your Kudos!!
