But how can I avoid adding members into the group? The problem is the group will have a lot of people creating reports in the same workspace and it can get very messy and crowded. What I want to do is having users in their own workspaces access the dataset that lives in an App.

I don't think there is a way to do it with App currently. I would suggest you add it as an idea on Power BI Idea forum to improve App workspace on this feature. :smileyhappy:
