How can I develop a dashboard locally then connect to another SQL server after publishing?

I have a database on my local pc. I want to develop a dashboard from the data in this database, but then after publishing it I want to use a different, live, SQL server (where a gateway has been installed). The live server has separate credentials and also a different database name, but the structure of the database is still the same.

Thanks in advance for any help
