How are you handling subscriptions?

We'd like to be able to give our end users the ability to set subscriptions to reports (paginated and otherwise) in which they can add aditional recipients. My understanding of the subscriptions feat...

    Hi MarkPalmberg ，

     

    Check the requirements  below:

    Requirements

    Creating a subscription can be done by:

    • Users with a Power BI Pro license
    • Users viewing content in a Premium workspace or app may also subscribe to content located there, even without a Power BI Pro license.

    You don't need edit permissions to the content (dashboard or report) to create a subscription for yourself, but you must have edit permissions to create one for someone else.

     

    In summary,if you wanna have report users to be able to subscribe to other people,you need to be sure that the users have the edit permission of the report.

exactly if you want another user to be able to add susbscritors to a certain apps, you need to add them to the workspace and give them a collaborator permit, basically 

workspace its for developers of that app and its contents, 

app its for user consuptions (you create the app via the workspace).
