We would like to disable the "Export" option for some Power BI reports. But, we don't want this change at the tenant level.
We have tried the solution as mentioned here (setting "Export data" to "None" in report settings) :-- https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Disable-Data-Export-just-to-a-particular-report/td-p/556601
However, it is not working for us. We can still see "Export" option enabled for the report.
Hi. I would probably change two things at the file settings of the report. That way if someone changes at service, the next update of the file will replace the original settings again.
One would be the one you mention there, changing the export settings to none (but on the file) and the other would be "hide visual headers from reading view". Unless you have a drilldown that's reaaaaally necessary, removing those buttons to export will asure you that none will export. If you can't just hide that, you might need to go one by one over the visuals hiding the three dots for exporting.

I hope that helps,
Happy to help!
