Hi Everyone,
I am new to Power BI.
I am strugling with the formating in Matrix visual. I have a Scheduling report that has to be displayed in a way that it fits one page for printing purposes (I customized the canvas size first). In the columns I need Day_Name and the date, the rows has Subdep and the Employee Name (sorted according to their job rank, but rank shouln'd be visible).
For each row I need to display Time In, Out, Meal and the Total Hrs. I placed all four fields in the value section. Now I need the grand total for rows and columns only for the Total Hrs. field. Thanks to the previous posts, I am able to hide the totals at the bottom by changing the text and background colors for unwanted fiels.
I am also hinding the unwanted columns like job rank, Column subtotals for the field In, Meal and out. The problem occurs when my data gets refereshed and if there is only one employee shcduled for that week. If there are multiple employees, there is no subtotal values and the display doesn't get affected. However column subtotals for in, out and meal have the values in case of one emplyee and because of the text wrap my display gets weird.
Is there a way to get rid of the column subtotals for these certain columns?
