I've created a PowerBI Desktop model with several tables. One of the tables has columns with different account levels that filter our financials to different aggregations. I've created a hierarchy from the columns in that table that, when my team connects to the model in Excel, allows them to drill up and down our income statement.
I'm trying to replicate this in a Datamart with Dataflows. The loads, connections, and measures all work great. The hierarchy works too: when I create a report in PowerBI, I can use it to drill up and down the income statement. However, when I connect to the model in an Excel pivot table, the hierarchy isn't showing up under the account table. Why would that be?
Hi, did you come up with a solution yet? I have the same issue now.
Hi Kazu, no, I have not. This remains an issue.
