Hi all!

I want to publish a new report in a published app but I wan't to make it available not for all users.

Is there any way to hide this report for some of them ?

Hi, @joshua1990

You can try to create a new audience for the report.

Here is the documentation for you. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-create-distribute-apps

@rubayatyasmin : Thanks a lot! I have just tried to add specific individuals to that audience but all others still have access to the report.

It is also highlighting that "users and groups in the workspace can access this content"...

What is the issue here?

@joshua1990

According to my knowledge, the reasons could be:

  1. Sharing permissions were not updated correctly.
  2. App workspace settings may not have been adjusted.
  3. Cached data might still be displaying the report.
  4. There could be a delay in applying audience updates. (This is what is happening, may be. you need to check and do not forget WS setting)
  5. Shared links to the report may still grant access.

Reviewing permissions, workspace settings, cache, and shared links can help resolve the issue.

If my assistance helped you in any way, appreciate the 👍. If this answer helps, accept this answer as a solution.

Thanks
