Help with Power BI Service and DataFlow

Hi,

I'm using Power BI Service and have created a DataFlow by connecting to GA4. I've queried the data and published it. I've looked everywhere online and have clicked around a bunch in Power BI Service. I can't figure out how to use the DataFlow so I can build a Report.

***I don't have access to Power BI Desktop.

What am I doing wrong? Is there another way to ingest the data that isn't exporting it?

Hi @brightbright

You can't build a report directly on top of a Dataflow. You need call it via Power BI desktop in order to build the semantic model and reports.

Configure and consume a dataflow - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Power BI desktop is free of charge, you can dowload it on Microsoft Store.

Thanks @aj1973! It's what I suspected.

Thanks for the tip, I'd download it but I'm on a Mac.  🤣
