Help to resolve MS fabric - forbidden error
Unfortunately, I am unable to raise a Microsoft support ticket because tickets related to Power BI or Microsoft Fabric can only be created from within the Fabric app itself. As a result, we’re currently blocked from setting up the Microsoft Fabric workspace. Please note that , the dev team had previously provisioned a trial Microsoft Fabric instance for another project and later deleted it.
Anyone has faced this kind of error before please help ?
v-ssriganesh The issue was resolved. The issue was related to a previously deleted resource which was causing this error as the trial Fabric setup was completely private at tenant level. Once the trial expired we were getting above error. provisioning back some resources like private dns records and tweaking the settings resolved the issue.

For to view this notice:
1 - Log in to the portal Admin Center MS 365.
2 - Option "Integrity"

Hi sreenihari ,
Confirm the issue (quick checks)
Ask a Global Admin / Power BI Admin to check:
1️⃣ Power BI Admin Portal
Go to:
👉 Microsoft 365 Admin Center
👉 Power BI Admin Portal
👉 Tenant settingsVerify:
-
✅ Microsoft Fabric = Enabled
-
✅ Users can create Fabric items = Enabled
2️⃣ Licensing check
In Microsoft 365 Admin Center:
-
Ensure users have Power BI Pro / Premium Per User (PPU) assigned
-
Even trial users should show valid Power BI access.
Can you confirm the above checks and let me know if the error still exist.

I can access the Office 365 admin page.
However, when I click on the Power BI admin page, it freezes. I can't open the Power BI admin page.

Resolver I
The “Forbidden” error when logging into Microsoft Fabric usually happens because your organization’s tenant or account isn’t properly enabled for Fabric. The most common fixes are: ensuring the right Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) account is used, checking if your tenant admin has disabled Fabric, and re‑provisioning Fabric access if a trial was previously deleted
