HANA Data Import - increase package size

Dear all,

I connected a SAP HANA View in my PowerBI Dashboard. The view contains about 100 million records.

The data import is running fine, but very slowly. About 3000 records per second are imported.

Is it possible to increase import package size?

    HI PhilippHeus ,

     

    I think that there are many variables at play here and you may have to contact the SAP side of the equation to see how many they are sending out.  After that, it could be all about network speed (and firewalls, and security connections, and permissions, etc).  This is part of why it is hard to find speed benchmarks for this sort of thing - because the method of connection and the type of connection and the networks and security can all affect this.  

     

    After some research with SAP you can also do a network trace (like Fiddler) to determine how/where the data is coming and going.
