Guest user unable to refresh dataset based on data flow

Issue:

  1. data flow accessing data from Snowflake -> runs fine
  2. data set accessing data from data flow -> refresh fails, see screenshot below
  3. report accessing data from data set -> runs fine but can't get new data because of point 2

Important: all three artefacts are created, uploaded and owned by a guest account with admin permissions to the workspace. If we assign the ownership to a native tenant account, step 2 works fine

 

Question: why the data set can not find the tables in its own workspace when owned by a guest user?

    Hi Elena_A 

     

    To me this is an error because as far as I am aware a Guest account cannot refresh a dataset in another tenant.

      I have a similar issue related to dataset refresh by a guest user.

      Do you know if it is documented anywhere ? I tried but couldn't find any.
