Go live with the data

Hi All , 

 

i wanna upgrade my current BI dashboard to go on live , means every data coming in , it is updated promptly. currently i am using schedule refresh , it has limited time to have it refreshed . Is it possible if i wanna connect it Live ? 
does it need to write code to have it succeed ? or else ? 

your idea is much appreciated.

    Hi Chanleakna123 ,

     

    Unfortunately, converting a data source use Import Mode to DirectQuery directly  is not supported currently, You can try to create a new report and connect the datasource by DirectQuery if the origin report is not complex. 

     

    You can get some workaround about how to convert in this thread (Please do make sure you have backup pbix flie if you want to try it)

    How about the result after you follow the suggestions mentioned in my original post?Could you please provide more details about it If it doesn't meet your requirement?

      hi v-lid-msft , actually i want my data to be refreshed by secounds , 

      but it is only coming from the data query.
