Hello everyone,
I have uploaded in power bi service "my workspace" a report which is feeded from folders located in SharePoint. Every monday i have to refresh the report. I want to ask if i can give access to a colleague to make the refresh in case of my absence (to refresh the sinematic model if i am right)?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @T-Pan
In general for a user to be able to refresh a Dataset, he needs to be the owner of it. To take over the ownership when you are absent the user needs to be a member in the workspace. Adding members to My Workspace in Power BI is not possible.

Hi @T-Pan
As @T-Pan mentioned , if you want other user to refresh the semantic model , he must be the owner of the semantic . That means the user must be a member in "My workspace" and he must have the role of contributor and above. But My workspace doesn't support adding users.
You can set scheduled refresh for your semantic model , so that the semantic models can be refreshed at specified times.
