Getting error while creating a data sources to Power BI gateway

Hi, while creating a new data sources to power BI gateway we are getting the below error could u please help us. 

Unable to connect: We encountered an error while trying to connect to . Details: "We could not register this data source for any gateway instances within this cluster. Please find more details below about specific errors for each gateway instance.

Hi @Anonymous ,

This error means that the client can't find the SQL Server instance. This can happen when at least one of the following problems exists:

  • The name of the computer hosting the SQL Server instance doesn't resolve the correct IP
  • The TCP port number isn't specified correctly

This error means that the client can't find the SQL Server instance. This can happen when at least one of the following problems exists:

It seems Gateway server is not able to access the SQL server
refer Resolving could not open a connection to SQL Server errors (mssqltips.com) for resolvution
