The Usage details table related to Azure Billing provides the line cost of the existing resources.
It also imports as json the tags related to the resource.
As Resource Groups don't have any cost associated, I think they don't appear in any of the avaiable datasources .
Were any of you able to get the RG data to link it to resources ?
It is simpler to tag at RG level than cascading the tags.

Unfortunately, the built-in Microsoft Azure Consumption Insights connector in Power BI currently doesn't provide a direct way to access Resource Group tags. It imports the tags associated with individual resources as a single JSON field, making it difficult to work with for Resource Group analysis.
the one way is that using graph API Integrate the Azure Resource Graph API as an external data source in Power BI Desktop
