General question about Data Flows and automatic reports

Hi

the company I work for wants me to create reports that pull data from SAP and automatically transform and clean it and put it in the form they want.

This data from SAP always keeps the same form and should therefore be automatically transformed into the form I specify.

As I have understood it correctly, I would do this process with Data Flows.

If this is not the case, I would be very happy if you could explain to me how this could be done.

Many thanks to all in advance.

there a variety of ways of doing things it just depends on your requirements and why you are doing it a certain way.  You can do this with data flows, or you can just pull directly into Power BI.  However the dataflows is more easily resusable.

Here is more information unless you have a specific question.

If I took the time to answer your question and I came up with a solution, please mark my post as a solution and /or give kudos freely for the effort 🙂 Thank you!

Hi

could you please tell me in which other way it would work to? Then I can evaluate which option fits in the best for me.

Btw. are there official video tutorials for data flows, not only the doc?

Thank you!
