Gen2 Premium Capacity Utilization and Metrics App

Hello,

We have 2 capacities and both appear in the Capacity Name filter within the Gen2 Premium Capacity Utilization and Metrics App.  However, visuals only display for the 1 capacity and not the other.  The capacity we provided in the app install is the capacity that shows the data.  This is Capacity 1.

Another team member downloaded the Gen2 Premium Capacity Utilization and Metrics App as well and this time used the other capacity.   This is Capacity 2.  Again, both Capacity 1 & 2 appear in the Capacity Name filter but the visuals only render for Capacity 2.  Visuals for Capacity 1 are simply blank.

We have used this app previously and saw data for both capacities with no issues.  This week we needed to delete the existing 'old' Gen2 Premium Capacity Utilization and Metrics App & workspace and re downloaded it from the store.

Is anyone experienceing this, is this a bug with an updated version of the app?  Or, is there a setting to input both capacity id's into the same Gen2 Premium Capacity Utilization and Metrics App?

Hi @tctrout ,

It is seem to be a known issue. The workaround is customers can also install the prior version of the app via this link: • App Source Preview Link: Find the right app | Microsoft AppSource : https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/power-bi/pbi_pcmm.pbipremiumcapacitymonitoringreport-p...

Unfortunately I can't offer any help, but I am having the same issue; only one of two premium capacities showing metrics in the report. Strangely, some visuals are populating, but the majority are not. Replying in the hopes of updates on resolving the issue

Are you admin on both capacity ?

If yes, try deleting and reinstalling the capacity metrics.

Correct, both me and my peer are Admins on both capacities.

We have both re installed several times.  Time 1, I use Capacity 1 id to connect the app and saw metrics for Capcity 1 but not 2.  I deleted, re installed this time using Capcity 2 id to connect the app and this time saw metrics for Capcity 2 but not Capcity 1.

Then I would suggest to reach out to MS Support https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/pro/ to help further
