Community ChampionGateway status emails or alerts?

Currently, it is not possible to get email or notifications when gateway is offline unless we go to the manage gateway page to check the status. There is an idea about this issue, please vote it up.

Thanks Lydia. I voted. Kind of hard to believe this wasn't added in the past year since that user voice recommendation was posted, especially with all the great new functionality via the clusters we have access to now.
Hope it is added soon.

How about listening from SQL/SSAS xevent trace for "Power BI Model Tracker" events? If those stop, then gateway is down.
