Gateway refresh for dataset that uses Excel documents in share file and sharepoint list.

Can a report/dataset that uses a Sharepoint list and an Excel file be refreshed with an On-Premise data data Gateway?  The Gateway has access to the share file directory.

Add the sharepoint list as the data source in gateway, and map it to the data source in dataset.

Yes this can be done.

If the SharePoint list is using SharePoint online, you will have to enable this setting on the Manage Gateways screen in the Power BI Service
