Hi, I have a gateway on premise for a dashboard in Power BI service (online). It works, but I need turn off the laptop where the gateway is, so... I think in Azure, virtual machine especifically, if I configure it and I run the gateway there, could function it? I think is the cheapest solution because the database is actually in MySQL on an unknown server for me. Thanks for your help!

Hi @anglis
Its always advisable to have an on-premises gateway on the servers which remain up 24*7, just have a look at specs of machines if they can support the gateway if yes then its the cheapest and safest way option without having to worry about laptop getting turned off.
