Gateway, need to use Virtual Machine
Hi Team, We are doing the Power BI migration from tenant A to tenant B. In tenant A they have used Virtual machine to connect to Gateway.. If we need to do for tenant B, what needs to be done, ...

The gateway VMs need to have direct line of sight to the on-premise data sources. Ideally they should be in the same subnet so you can minimize the network latency.

a) no. Needs a separate gateway (ideally a cluster)
b) at least two VMs. 32 GB RAM, 16 cores, 10 Gbit network adapter
c) no migration possible. Recreate manually

Thanks for the reply..
In tenant A we are using Premium capacity, for tenant B we are using Shared capacity now, will be using Premium later (after 1 month), will the VM work for tenant B...
