Hello all,
I have set up scheduled refreshes for my sql server dat sources in power Bi and it has been running smoothly for the last 6 months until two days ago, where refreshes are failing 80% of the time, and this is the error i receive for all of them:
When I check the data source credentials, all the credentials are good.
Thanks in advance for any fix/suggestion.
Hi @ps92 ,
Just as PijushRoy says, you can try to refresh the report manually on Demand in place of the Schedule refresh.
The error “DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_Unreachable” means the Power BI is unable to reach the gateway. So you need to make sure that your gateway is working and there are no network issues that could be blocking the connection. Also the gateway needs to be the latest version.
Here are two topics that have a similar problem to yours that you might want to read: Solved: DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError - Microsoft Fabric Community and Dataset Refresh Error "DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_Pipel... - Microsoft Fabric Community

Hi @Anonymous ,
Thank you for your suggestion.
I reached out to the gateway administrator, and on their end the gateway seems to be working fine, and also been updated. I have a handful of reports, and some of them refresh multiple times a day. What other troubleshooting can I do/ask admin to look into?
Hi @ps92
Looks data source is busy or unreachable
Please stop the schedule refresh and try to refresh the report manually on Demand in place of the Schedule refresh one by one for checking purposes.
If it succeeds, please put the reports in schedule refresh in different time slots in place of all reports refreshed in the same slot.
Let me know if that works for you
