Hi pvuppala 

 

As of now, ther is no supported APIs such as admin or REST or power shell that exposes last credentails used field you see the GateWay connections User interface(UI). so your observation is correct. 

 

What happend basically, Last credentials columni used is part of mew fabric connection telemetry, which is MSFT started surfacing the UI. But, it is not yet exposed via Power BI REST APIs and it is not avilable in Admin APIs. 

 

So, APIs only allows you to List gateways, list datasoruce connections and to check data soruce status. 


What you built is reliable method , but the limitation is, it's not allow you to see last usage, only existence of dependency.
