Advocate IGateway connection to Mongo DB
I have setup a Gateway connection to a Mongo DB datasource in the Power BI service.
Do I need to enter the connection credentials in my Desktop Power BI report as well or is it possible to connect to the gateway and get access to the Mongo DB datasource?

You can use the ODBC connector to connect to the Mongo DB data source in Power BI Desktop.

I have succesfully managed to used the ODBC connector in desktop. I now want to setup a Power BI dataflow to the MongoDB datasource. Do I use the ODBC connector in the Power BI service?
