Hi Saultillo
The issue you're experiencing is likely related to a discrepancy between the regional settings of the On-premises data gateway, Power BI Service, and the source data. When using Excel as a data source, date formats can sometimes be misinterpreted, especially if there's a mismatch in regional settings.
Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
1. Check Excel Date Format:
Ensure that the date format in your Excel source is consistent and correctly formatted. Excel sometimes stores dates in a serial number format, which can lead to misinterpretations when imported into other platforms.
2. On-premises Data Gateway Regional Settings:
The On-premises data gateway might be using a different regional setting than your Power BI Desktop or Service. Ensure that the gateway's regional settings match your desired format.
- Navigate to the machine where the On-premises data gateway is installed.
- Open the "Control Panel" and go to "Clock and Region" > "Region".
- Ensure the format is set to Spanish or your desired setting.
- Check the "Date" tab to ensure the short date is in the desired format.
3. Power BI Service Regional Settings:
Ensure that the dataset's regional settings in Power BI Service match your desired format.
- In Power BI Service, go to "Settings" > "Datasets".
- Select the dataset in question.
- Under "Regional Settings", ensure it's set to Spanish or your desired setting.
4. Transform Data in Power Query:
As a workaround, you can explicitly set the date format in Power Query when importing data from Excel.
- In Power BI Desktop, go to "Edit Queries".
- Select the date column.
- Use the "Transform" tab to set the date format explicitly.

I have done everything mentioned and the error continues.
What I have detected is that if I remove the connections to the gateway and refresh, the dates work correctly, but if I add the connections to the gateway and refresh, the dates are changed.
