In the Gateway installation guide, it also mentioned the Recovrey Key is used to restore the gateway, any detail how is used when in restore? or where is the restore guide?  any reference? Install a...

    After reviewing the details you provided, here are a few workarounds that may help resolve the issue. Please follow these steps:

     

    Yes, there is a guide available to help you restore or change the recovery key for an on-premises data gateway.
    Change the recovery key for an on-premises data gateway | Microsoft Learn


    Open the on-premises data gateway app and sign in. Go to the Recovery Keys tab and select "Set new recovery key." Enter the current recovery key and the new one. Select Configure to change the recovery key. This step will perform a recovery of the gateway and encrypt all Power BI data source credentials using the new recovery key.

     

    The Gateway Recovery Key is used when you need to restore, migrate, or take over an existing On-premises Data Gateway.
