Hi Stewwe,

Yes, you're not alone—several users have reported similar gateway-related performance issues since the May 21, 2025 update. The sudden increase in refresh time and `Execution Timeout Expired` errors suggest it may be tied to that latest gateway version.

Here are a few quick suggestions:

  1. Try "rolling back to the previous gateway version" (if you have the installer).
  2. Monitor "CPU/RAM usage" on the gateway machine during refreshes to rule out local resource bottlenecks.
  3. If possible, "increase the SQL command timeout" in your data source settings in Power BI. 
  4. Open a "Microsoft support ticket" to log the issue and get visibility—it helps escalate the problem if it's widespread.

Hopefully, Microsoft will release a fix or hotfix soon. You're doing the right thing by checking with the community.
