Gateway Personal mode keeps closing

Hi All,

 

I have the gateway installed on a seperate server where it is literally the only thing running, however it seems to close itself.  The server didn't reboot, which would be a muich easier solution.  I am logged into the server and I do not need to re-enter my credentials when I use the remote desktop connection. 

 

Is anyone else having this issue?  My managers are getting a little frustrated with me when data is not refreshed.

    Hi Jim_,

     

    1. How about using the On-premises data gateway (not the personal mode)?

    2. Can you check the Windows Event logs to see what happened?

    3. Can you even use the personal gateway for a while?

    4. Do you have the latest version of Data Gateway?

      • For whatever reason, I can't get it to install on my server

      2. Can you check the Windows Event logs to see what happened?

      • I tried that but I don't really know what I am after

      3. Can you even use the personal gateway for a while?

      • Yes, the personal gateway works for days at a time.

      4. Do you have the latest version of Data Gateway?

      • Yes

      Does it make a difference if the gateway is running as a service on the server?
