Hello guys,
I have a little problem here.
I want to use a Mapped Network Folder as Data Source, and in my PowerBI Desktop it work well, but when I want to put in Service/Online and schedule refresh, I can't configure de GateWay (entreprise).
I work in my laptop with the mapped network and I have the same Mapped Network in the server were Gateway is installed.
I have already navigate in the forum, and I have done:
- Retrive the UNC path of my Mapped Network from the server where GateWay is installed, using "cmd.exe" >"net use"
But when I put the credencial in GateWay configuration they give me an error of "Invalid Connection credential".
I already try the credencial for the Mapped Network and the credencial from Domain\User of my server.
The credentials for Mapped Network are with email.
What I do wrong?
Thank you!

You will need the same credential to have permissions to the mapped network in order for it to work.
So is not possible to connect to a Mapped Network via Service, if the Credencials of the Mapped Network aren't the Same as the Credencials to acess to the Gateway.
There is a solution, a workarround?
Would this blog post not help?
In order to refresh a mapped network file you will need to have either the standard or personal gateway installed and being on when the refresh happens.
It needs to have a connection to the underlying file in order to refresh it
Hello,
I have the Standard gateway installed in my server.
I have the mapped network drive there also.
I can acess in my server to the mapped network, but I can't use it as shecdule refresh in powerBI
I have 2 credential: 1 for the server, and 1 for the mapped network
