Gateway Error - "Unable to connect: We encountered an error while trying to connect to"

Hello!

I am trying to add data source to my gateway. However, I am encountering this error:

Unable to connect: We encountered an error while trying to connect to . Details: "We could not register this data source for any gateway instances within this cluster. Please find more details below about specific errors for each gateway instance."

Hi ,

When you configure the gateway data source,  the  most important thing is to make sure the credentials are correct  and unexpired.
(Windows account you enter must have Server Administrator permissions for the instance you're connecting to. If this account’s password is set to expire, users could get a connection error if the password isn’t updated for the data source. )

Then if you use windows authentication method ,please use domain\username instead  in windows username
