Gateway Analysis Service Problems

Hello,

I've running a local server in my office and using analysis service (cube) data.

Now i have done reports in power bi desktop and done the gateway (enterprise) setup.

Setup was positive. Diagnosis (On-Premises data gateway) is Positive all IP-Adresses and Ports are open.

Setup on power bi online is also successful. 1. Gatewaycluster = Online / 2. Dataset = Online incl. connection.

My problem is if i upload a new report the upload is successful. I see the report online in power bi.

But: I see NO data from my Report. No visuals etc. 

Error Code: 

Error: Data source access error. Please contact the gateway administrator.

Problem 2: I have no UPN because ive no domain on my server. so i have to login with my Windows Admin Account.

Maybe this is the connection Problem. So my EffectiveUserName is my Server Admin login.

I don't now what to do anymore... i've tried all the stuff in docu... hope anybody can help me...

Hi there

Make sure that in your data source configuration in the Power BI Service, you click on Map Users and map from your Power BI login to your Server Admin login

If that does not work then you need to put your SSAS Server on a domain

hope i've do this correct...

Wich parameter are expect by power bi online to match?

My interpretation is:

Power BI online expect my Windows Server Admin Login

Gateway send my Office Online Login (zB [email protected])

I have to konvert Office Online Login to Windows Server Admin Login?

Is this correct? I m not sure wich Parameter comes to Power Bi online from Gateway without Domain.

Hi there

Analysis Services has to have a domain in order to authenticate as far as I am aware.
